Brighton Etsy Team are excited once again to have team up with The World Cetacean Alliance as part of their Untangled Project.
The World Cetacean Alliance (WCA) is the world’s largest global partnership to protect whales, dolphins and porpoises (cetaceans) and their habitats. The WCA’s Untangled Project aims to highlight and address the problems created in our seas by ghost gear – abandoned fishing net/line/rope – which is causing the death of hundreds of thousands of marine animals every year. For more information or to make a donation please go to www.worldceteanalliance.org.
Many of our team members have kindly volunteered to make something nautical themed to list in their Etsy shop and sell with a percentage of sale donated to the WCA. We’ll also be showcasing these products at a Brighton Etsy stall at March of the Mermaids today (Saturday 23rd of July). You can find out more about March of the Mermaids and how to be involved here.

If you can’t make it not to worry as these products will remain live on our team members shops until Christmas (unless they sell out before) and we’ll then update you on the total funds raised for the WCA.
