BTN Etsy Talk – April 20th, Ebonie Allard – Entrepreneur Enabler

The Brighton Etsy team are pleased to introduce our next talk!

Ebonie is the Entrepreneur Enabler; she helps helps creative freelancers, business owners, and misfit entrepreneurs go from ARGH (ripping their hair out!) to AHHH (bolder, freer, happier). But before you click away muttering about “ANOTHER business coach,” let me tell you Ebonie has LIVED. She has important stories to tell and lessons to share.

Ebonie has never had a proper job. From selling homemade cards when she was 14 to working in the film industry to starting one of the first virtual assistant companies and her current work as a business coach, she’s been self-employed, a freelancer, and an entrepreneur. Her recent book Misfit to Maven: From ‘ARGH’ to ‘AHHH’ is more sex, drugs, and misadventure than other business books. Part memoir and part workbook, Ebonie helps readers build a life that feels as good on the inside as it looks on the outside.

Ebonie’s story is a true hero’s journey, with all of the trials required along the way – from working in the film industry to living in a boiler room and creating a business that led her to breakdown. She shares with candid honesty everything that has led her to where she is now: living a life by design.

In this talk she will share her story and talk about

– How to move from feeling like a misfit who’s a square peg in a round hole and feeling overwhelmed and isolated to gaining clarity and a true embodiment of self-love

– Creativity & uniqueness – when people’s creativity gets stuck, its often because people are looking externally rather than looking inward. Ebonie can speak about how using your unique value filter to put yourself back into your most turned on, expansive version of yourself will always put you back into your creative flow. Every entrepreneur gets the fear that this is going to be their last good idea but when we get into this flow, we understand that ideas are infinite. It’s not about forcing but rather stepping away and allowing and Ebonie can share many examples of this from her own life.

– How to create a creative business AND make money (because they are not mutually exclusive!)

We are really looking forward to Ebonie coming to talk to us about her life as a entreprenuer enabler, and running her own successful business.

The talk is on Wednesday 20th April at the Old Market in Brighton, doors open at 7pm and the talk will begin at about 7:30. Join our facebook event here.
