We took three makers, The Pigeons Nest, Georgie St Clair and designosaur to teach some workshops.

As a five hour drop in session it was a busy day, but we managed to get lots of students involved in lots of different crafts from crocheted granny squares with Rebecca from the Pigeons Nest to flower collages with Georgie.

We were alongside fellow team member RattyCatCat, who runs “GO! CRAFT” who was leading a lino cutting workshop, as well as workshops on wire bird making, origami and cross stitch.

Want to see more, check out the #SussexRefreshers hashtag. We chatted with Emma the events officer at the end of the day, and she suggested that their might be more events like this, so if you want to get involved, watch this space!
