Last Wednesday Brighton Etsy were lucky enough to have Claire Potter along to talk about her knowledge in sustainable design.
Claire Potter, founder of Claire Potter Design spoke about her Brighton based studio, which creates sustainable design solutions for interior architecture, landscape and product design – including the how’s, why’s and issues you find along the eco design process. There was also an insight to designing for the circular economy and how this has fed into the studio’s work and their new, converted home – Studio Loo, which is based in an old public toilet in Portslade.
She also has worked on well known Brighton businesses including HiSbe.
If you missed the talk or wanted to catch up on anything you may have missed then you can view all the slides here.
Claire says, ‘It was great to be able to come and talk with the Brighton Etsy group about the work of the studio and what really drives our work – sustainable design is exciting, and we will all be part of the solution with our designs in the future. We all have a part to play and it was great to discuss how everyone approaches this in their own work too. I thoroughly enjoyed the evening, it was a blast!’
A big thank you again to Claire for speaking for us. View Claire’s website here.
