Next up to be featured in the Artists Open Houses series is Bring The Wolf who will be exhibiting at 99 Ditchling Rise in an area of Brighton with plenty of open houses to look around. Romy and Harry told us a little about themselves, there shop and their open house experience.
Tell us a little bit about yourself and your etsy shop….
We sell vintage, remade and handmade clothing and accessories. Our aim is to present vintage alongside our in house designs to create timeless collections. We also make zip bags and clutches from off cuts to avoid waste. All of our handmade clothing is made in organic cotton and our remade T-shirts and bags are created from vintage off cuts.
What has your experience of the Brighton Open houses been before this year?
This is our first time showcasing our work at an open house but we have enjoyed visiting over the years. I have always liked the artists selected for 99 Ditchling rise and looking forward to exhibiting.
What can an eager visitor expect when visiting your Open House?
A vibrant collection of textiles, jewellery and ceramics. Aside from our clothing, Barbara Jones will be selling beautiful handmade dresses.
They also have a tea garden selling cake and a vintage rummage rail.
Do you have any new products or best sellers in store for us?
Our organic denim jumpsuit is a popular item and we have some new remade lace tops. We will also be selling our beautiful clutch bags made from vintage off cuts.
Apart from your obviously fantastic Open House, are there any others you’re looking forward to visiting or have particularly enjoyed in the past?
Family Art Line showcasing work from Shyama Ruffell. 13 Addison Road, Hove.
Have you got any other crafty plans for this summer?
We will be joining the Snoopers Attic collective from May which we are looking forward to. We also have more vintage prints that we will make into a variety of T-shirts.
