What has your experience of the Brighton Open houses been before this year?

Last year I exhibited with Peanut Butter Tree Arts and loved it! It was my first venture into Brighton Open Houses so wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. It did not disappoint with a great mix of artists and designer makers and lovely customers who truly appreciate hand made products.

What can an eager visitor expect when visiting your Open House?

Sixes and Sevens has an interesting range of art work and crafts. In particular I am looking forward to seeing Cat Ceramic’s new collection and you can also find my new range of textile accessories and original illustrations for sale.

Do you have any new products or best sellers in store for us?

My best seller ‘Foxes’ a unique nature inspired textile print can be found on cushions, purses, pencil cases and make up bags this year and you can also bag one of a new fine bone china mugs featuring my animal illustrations.

Apart from your obviously fantastic Open House, are there any others you’re looking forward to visiting or have particularly enjoyed in the past?

This will be the first year I’ll actually get to look at the other Open Houses! With so many to visit it’s hard to know where to start but I will definitely be doing the rounds.

Have you got any other crafty plans for this summer?

I’m hosting my first drawing workshop this year at the Sorting Office in June as well as taking part in their open studios. I’m also working on a new range of textile prints which I hope to launch later this summer along with a product line but it’s early days so you’ll have to stay tuned for the details!
