Crafty Magazine Article

Well hello there readers ! I’m delighted to be writing a little blog post for the wonderful Brighton Etsy Team and I come with great news… As a quick intro, I’m Elizabeth Anne Norris, Brighton Etsy Team member, former Brighton Etsy Team captain and designer maker at Etsy shop eanjewellery.

My exciting news is that the Brighton Etsy Team features in this month’s edition of Crafty Magazine, a UK craft based magazine.  Yes, Brighton’s talented team of Etsy sellers is in print in a fabulous 4 page article about Brighton’s Craft Scene. The article features the activities of the Brighton Etsy Team as well individual members and associated craft businesses that the Brighton Etsy Team know and love.

In the article you’ll find comments from Claire Munday of Beetle Cherry who’s a Brighton Etsy Team member.

Next up are details about Brighton Craftaganza handmade market from Zoe Edwards. Many Brighton Etsy Team members will be taking part in the Christmas Craftaganza on 30th November, 1st, 7 and 8 December 2013.

Page 3 of the article is the most exciting as it’s about the Brighton Etsy Team and the teams recent activities which include Etsy’s global Craft Party, the window display created by the team for Super+Super HQ and Etsy’s mentor month. It’s great to belong to such a hard working, talented and supportive group of creative people. I’ve made many great friends and can’t stress how beneficial it is to be part of this team. I’ve recently handed over the role of team captain to super Karli of designosaur who’s doing a fab job as you can probably tell!

There’s also info about another of our team members, Jude Turner of Jessie Jumbles and her clever creative pursuits.

I can’t go without mentioning a couple of photos in the article. Firstly, the superb Etsy cake toppers by Miss Sarah Cake who’s in the Brighton Etsy Team and there’s also a pic of Brighton Etsy Team members Toby (, Karli ( and Cheska (

The last page of the article features the brilliant Makers Boutique, monthly craft fair, which many Brighton Etsy Team members regularly take part in.

Finally Amy Phipps from Super+Super HQ, who have hosted several of our Brighton Etsy Team Events, tells us about her cool creative hub in Brighton’s South Lanes.

I think the article is great and rightly awards Brighton with the crafty accolade it deserves. It also highlights the amazing Brighton Etsy Team and its’ value in the craft community… but what do you think?
